WERE YOU THERE...?

Thousands of bright, eager young people were there... learning, and becoming engaged with the SOA movement.

Thousands of seniors from past years were seen... activists never giving up the struggle for justice.

Religious men and women of many faiths were there.

Past PRISONERS OF CONSCIENCE were there to inspire us.

Particularly moving was the presence of young families. Their sacrifice puts us easy travelers to shame.

The cops were there too... gas masks ready. They looked foolish watching the hours-long procession softly chanting "Presente".

Helicopter gunships overhead protecting... ???

Anyone missing?

The politicians stayed home as usual.

Corporate America was nowhere to be seen.

And of course the Bishops were needed elsewhere to make sure the women didn't rise up and take over The Church.
