I'm happy as a bee in clover to have an American president receive the Nobel. But it strikes me as odd that no one in the Catholic Peace Community has taken issue with the fact that Obama is the first American President to receive the Noble Peace prize while pursuing two wars and seeking a possible troop increase in one of them.
Not saying he shouldn't get it. Just saying that is passing strange to award someone the prize WHILE they are debating the acceleration of a war.
Teddy Roosevelt had at least finished his Rough Riding days before he received his award.
