Are women safe anywhere in the church?

Madison Bishop Morlino has taken a broad swipe at organizations that recognize women as full members in good standing in the human race.

In a bit of hysterics aimed at justifying his firing of Ruth Kolpack, The bishop named Call To Action and FutureChurch "anti-Catholic organizations".

Sweeping between the pews is probably still open to women, as long as they cover their heads and stay out of the sanctuary.

"Are women safe anywhere in the church?"

Orthodox women are, as long as Bishop Morlino is around.

In an exercise of democratizing the Church I'd like to start a "DRAFT MORLINO" movement to get him a red hat here in St. Louis.

Here's a link to a NCR article which shows Morlino is a dream walking.

Try common sense please--anyone who calls the teaching of the Church "religious evil" (read her dissertation) and refuses to publicly adhere to this teaching is obviously not capable of fully teaching the Catholic faith.

The bishop would be shirking HIS duties if he didn't acknowledge this reality. Those who publicly disagree with Catholic teaching shouldn't be given the job of teaching the Catholic faith in a parish.

Whether it is in business, or finance or in government service one cannot attack the fundemental premises of the organization one belongs to and also ask for a paycheck.

This is the way of both this world and the hearafter.

Lucifer tried it and he got fired.

It's just reality.

Church progressives need to grow up.
